Anglican House Media Ministry is a Ministry Partner of the of the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA). Founded in 2013 to serve our Church as a strong media arm, we stand with the greater Body of Christ to proclaim the Gospel message. We present Anglicanism as a reliable container for Christian truth to be passed along from one generation to another. We also produce materials of interest to other Christians and seekers. Enjoy our site. We will try to keep it fresh and stimulating.

 Todays Scripture

1 Corinthians 12:27-31 (ESV)

Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it. And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, administrating, and various kinds of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? Do all possess gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? But earnestly desire the higher gifts. And I will show you a still more excellent way.

ACNA Relationship
We are a tax-free nonprofit founded in 2013 to be a strong media arm of the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA). We are an Ministry Partner of ACNA pursuant to church canons. Ministry Partners are well suited to develop a particular ministry and related fundraising opportunities. Ministry Partners of other denominations include schools, relief agencies, and publishers. To assure ACNA representation three Bishops serve on our Board of Directors, including the Chairman of our Board, Archbishop Emeritus Robert Duncan. A bylaw grants the incumbent Archbishop the right to perpetuate ACNA’s representation on our Board of Directors. (Go to RESOURCES for more about Anglicanism and the Background of ACNA.)
The “Lexicon Problem”
Although Anglicans comprise the world’s largest Protestant group we face an amazing dichotomy. On one hand the word Anglican isn’t really in the American lexicon – outsiders usually draw a blank at mention of an Anglican Church. On the other hand many people today, especially younger people, yearn for a connection with the Early Church, a connection Anglicanism richly provides. Even Billy Graham sees “spiritual beauty in Anglican order,” and has said that if he were “starting all over again (he) would be an evangelical Anglican.”1 This is a dichotomy rich in opportunity. Anglican House aims to help equip Anglicans, particularly lay people, to explain about Anglicanism simply and winsomely.
Our Place in Media
To publish is “to make generally known to the public.” It takes national and international distribution to do it and that kind of distribution is the preserve of leading publishing houses – yet the door opened for us when Midpoint Trade Books, Inc., (the dominant U.S. distributor with operations in Canada, the U.K and Australia) added us to its list of publishers. Our contract with Midpoint gives access to major booksellers like Barnes & Noble, Amazon, Hudson News, B. Dalton, Target, and Costco. Midpoint’s position is equally strong in the electronic market, giving access to Kindle, Barnes & Noble Nook and other eBook publishers.
We work together with other ACNA related publishers to make our resources available resources to them: for example, consigning titles to The Parish Press and producing for Classical Anglican Press the eBook edition of Bishop John Rodgers’ fine commentary on the Thirty-Nine Articles of Religion.
